Galaxy Elbow
Galaxy Elbow is the only external fixation system that allows for free flexion-extension, limited movement and passive movement all in one fixation device. The Elbow Hinge is low profile and has a radiolucent core that allows for easy location of the centre of rotation of the joint and provides flexion and extension of up to 175°. The Elbow Hinge has a built-in micrometric distractor for release of joint stiffness and for continued distraction to protect the joint during the treatment period. The kit also includes a separate Elbow Distractor Unit for use to distract the joint intra-operatively in the case of severe joint stiffness.
